Virginia turned One last Wednesday. I've been hoping to take her One Year pictures, but it's been raining non-stop and I want to take them outside. So, I'll wait. But, in the mean time I'll post a few from the actual day.
Our little girl turned ONE this week. Wow. That is really the first word that comes to mind. Followed by: amazed, happy, laughter, content, wonder... All the things I feel when I think about this past year.
Sweet baby girl. Your momma loves you so much. Really, more than you'll ever know. And the most wonderful news is you have a Savior who loves you even more. I pray for you daily that you will know Him and that He would help us train you in His way.
You are the sweetest and most funny little girl. You constantly make us laugh. Your silly noises and faces bring smiles to my face. You have two little teeth and when you smile or make your "fake mad" face those teeth awkwardly sit there and I think about how cute your little mouth is. When you hear music, whether it's daddy playing the piano, music on the radio or mommy humming you starting shakin' that booty of yours and it is truly hilarious! You talk, talk, talk all the time. You have a unique language that sometimes sounds a little Jewish with all the Oi's :)
You also love to talk on the phone. No matter what you're holding, if we say hello, you hold it to your ear and have your own little conversation. You also love to snuggle and "give love". You lay your head down on us and make a sweet little humming noise. I melt!
You crawl around like crazy and you can move pretty fast up on your feet as long as you're holding on to something.
You are growing up so fast Virginia Northe. You even took two steps last night. As excited as I am about seeing you grow, I'm also sad that you won't always be so little. But, you will always be my baby girl.
