Blackberry Pies

In keeping with tradition, Jason and his sisters and younger brother Jamie all went blackberry picking up at the farm. I was privileged enough to be allowed to go last year, but this year I stayed behind. However I did get to participate in the making of the blackberry pies (which I got to enjoy a bite of before I was diagnosed! heehee). Last year the harvest was ripe, so we were able to make 10 pies! This year was less yielding and we ended up with 4... Oh well!
