Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day mom. When I try to think of what I could write on here that would in some way express how much I love you and how grateful I am for you, I come up speechless... So I found some pictures to help me.

Along with my Salvation and my husband, you are truly one of the greatest gifts in my life. Even though I was technically given to you, I still consider myself blessed to call you mother :) I have read a few of the letters you wrote for me when I was a baby. In one of them you said you would always be there for me, and you have kept that promise! You laugh with me and cry with me. You point me to the Lord by asking me if I pray and if I read God's word. I can think of countless times where I would wake up in the morning and find you on the couch reading your Bible and writing in your prayer journal! You tell me what I need to hear whether I like it or not, and you are almost always right (even if it takes me a bit to see it). Thank you for the example you have been to me in caring for your family, I have seen over the years that it can be a thankless job but you love us unconditionally I know you reward in Heaven will be sweet.

You make me laugh! I am so grateful for your silliness and your sense of humor! You are a joy to be around not only to your own family, but also to your friends. Thank you for teaching me to laugh at myself :) Thank you for treasuring my "tender" heart and for always telling me how much you love me and what a blessing I am in your life.

Thank you for supporting me in my adventure to Atlanta and for walking with me through that process. You knew God was working and even though you did not want me to leave, you were clay in the potter's hand and stood by me. Now here I am, married and experiencing my first Mother's Day. You are going to be an AMAZING grandmother to our children. I can hardly wait!!! I know they will love you and want to watch your every move and they will think you are the coolest and sweetest and nicest person they've ever met. I am so grateful that they will know you and be able to call you Grandma and that they too will be able to see the love of Christ displayed in your life!

I love you mom and miss you more than you'll ever know!! Happy Mother's Day!!
